LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky women’s soccer freshman Haleigh Hoff has been named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Girls High School All-America Team.

A forward/midfielder from Winfield, W.Va., Hoff graduated from Winfield High School. She is a four-time West Virginia High School Soccer Coaches Association (WVHSSCA) All-State selection and was named this year’s WVHSSCA Player of the Year. She was named the 2010 WVHSSCA Forward of the Year. Hoff played club soccer for the WV Chaos and coach Kernel Borneo.

The team was recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon on Saturday in conjunction with the 2012 NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo.

Additionally Hoff was recognized as the NSCAA All-America Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. She maintained a 4.0 grade point average and has been an active member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and has served four years on student council.

Hoff enrolled at UK for the spring semester and is eligible to compete in the Wildcats’ spring season.
