LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky volleyball team is pleased to announce the dates for the 2012 UK Volleyball Coaches Clinic. The clinic will take place Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24.
Featured speakers this year will include:
-Dr. Mike Hebert, former head coach at the University of Minnesota and University of Illinois, who led five teams to NCAA Final Four appearances
-Brandon Rosenthal, current head coach at Lipscomb University, NCAA tournament participants in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011
– Craig Skinner, head coach at the University of Kentucky, 2011 AVCA South Region Coach of the Year
The UK Coaches Clinic will also feature presentations on student-athlete nutrition, simple and effective strength and conditioning for your team, as well as numerous on-court volleyball training sessions. All on-court presenters will be working with the UK volleyball team to demonstrate training techniques and skill breakdowns.
The clinic is open to any and all coaches interested in attending and will be beneficial for coaches ranging from beginner level to upper level high school, club and college volleyball. Check-in will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET, Friday, March 23 and the clinic will finish at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24.
