ATHENS, Ga. — With rains hitting the Georgia campus, the series opener Friday between No. 2 Kentucky and No. 18 Georgia has been postponed, with the two teams to begin the series with a doubleheader Saturday, with game one set to begin at 12 p.m. ET at Foley Field.

The second game of the twinbill will begin at 4 p.m. ET, regardless of the progress in the first game, as the second game is slated for a telecast on Fox Sports South, with Dave Neal and Larry Conley calling the action.

Fans can listen to both games on the UK IMG Radio Network, with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. Fans in Lexington can hear the games live on WGVN 1580-AM, in Louisville on WKJK 1080-AM and online at UKathletics.com.

Kentucky (25-1, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) will send junior southpaw Taylor Rogers to the hill in the opener, to face off with Georgia ace sophomore lefty Alex Wood. In the second game, UK junior southpaw Jerad Grundy will make the start opposite veteran senior UGA righty Michael Palazzone.
