LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will head to Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend to wrap up the fall season at the Tennessee Fall Invite.

The three-day invitational features North Carolina State, Ohio State and Tennessee, in addition to Kentucky. The quad match will allow Kentucky to face all three opponents in singles and doubles play.

Kentucky opens the weekend Friday at 1 p.m. with singles play against Ohio State. Following singles action, Kentucky will kick off doubles play at 4 p.m., taking on host Tennessee. NC State and Ohio State will face of in doubles play at 4 p.m. as well, with NC State and Tennessee wrapping up the day with a singles match at 5 p.m.

The Wildcats return to the court at 10 a.m. on Saturday to face NC State in singles action. Doubles play will follow; with Kentucky going against Ohio State at 1 p.m. Tennessee and NC State will also square off at 1 p.m. in doubles competition.

Kentucky’s Sunday schedule will begin with doubles play at 1 p.m. against North Carolina State, before wrapping up the weekend with a singles match against Tennessee at 2 p.m.

Draws are not determined until the beginning of each day, with the coaches setting the lineups daily. The tournament winner will be determined by a points system, based on singles and doubles play wins.
