Greg Welsh is in his third year with the Kentucky Athletic Communications and Public Relations Office, currently serving as an assistant director. Welsh has worked with a number of sports at UK including women’s soccer, swimming & diving and men’s tennis. Currently, Welsh serves as the secondary contact for the men’s basketball program, as well as the primary men’s golf contact.

Prior to arriving at Kentucky, Welsh spent a year as a sports information director at Harvard University overseeing women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s squash, men’s and women’s golf and sailing.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Welsh graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
