2016 (Junior): Started her career as a midfielder, but was converted to a wide back in her freshman season … With injuries to the centerbacks this preseason, has now been asked to take on a centerback role after starting the season as the left back, where she replaced Arin Gilliland in 2015 … Has assists vs. South Florida and Louisville this season, both were over-the-top balls played into space … Played the fourth-most minues on the field for UK this season (Soucie, Carter, Miller).

2015 (Sophomore): Replacing All-American Arin Gilliland on the back line … Started eight games as a freshman in 2014, four in midfield and four on the back line … Scored her first-career goal vs. Ohio … Were also her first-career points.

2014 (Freshman): Started her UK career as a midfielder against Washington before moving to the back line as a full-time starter, and is now back to a full-time starter as the attacking centermid … Has started in 14 of UK’s matches as a freshman … Took her first-career shot, and shot on goal at Missouri.

Pre-College: While with Cleveland United, Novak was the 2013 U17 National Championship Most Valuable Player, and was awarded the tournament’s golden boot … Two years prior in 2011, Novak was selected to the 2011 Region II Team. Also with the Cleveland United, Novak was a part of the 2013 National Champions League, crowned Region II Champions in 2012, and MRL Premier League Champions in 2011, 12 and 13 …In her time with Strongsville High School, Novak was on varsity all four seasons, made the Elite Eight all four years, and was a Final Four participant in three of her four seasons. Novak led Strongsville to a state championship in her sophomore season. In her four years, she was All-Conference First Team, Second Team, Conference MVP, First Team All-State, Player of the Year and a four-year letter winner …Novak has a brother, Eric, and parents Al and Kathy. She intends on majoring in exercise science upon her arrival to campus in August.
