2017 (Senior – RS year): UK’s leading goal scorer at the time of her ACL tear vs. Florida State (9/3/17) … Will be able to redshirt, as she missed the cutoff by 47 minutes … Will be eligible for the 2018 season, and plans to come back … UK’s active leading goal-scorer, assister, and point-getter.

2016 (Junior): Led UK in goals with seven … Full member of the Mexican National Team … Was on the 2015 FIFA World Cup roster, but broke her ankle vs. Canada five days before the tournament started in a closed-door scrimmage and missed the tournament … Had two goals vs. High Point and an equalizer vs. Louisville … UK’s most technical forward, good with her feet on the ball … Transferred in from USC (Southern Cal) in 2015 after her freshman season … First UK player with two goals in one match twice in a season since Arin Gilliland in 2013 (HPU, Murray St) … Assist vs. Auburn, Tennessee and at Arkansas to lead team in that category.

NATIONAL TEAMS: Samarzich is a member of the Mexican Under-20 National Team and has also been a member of the Mexican Under-17 Team… Competed at the 2012 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and 2010 FIFA Under-17 World Cup for Mexico.
