2009 (Sophomore): Outdoor – Performed impressively at the Mideast Regional in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 50-11 on his third attempt; the distance ranks second all-time at UK only behind Bethel Ward’s varsity record jump of 51-1.75 set in 1981 … At the SEC Championships, scored for the first time in a league meet by placing eighth overall with a leap of 49-3.50 in the triple jump to collect a point for the Cats … Attained personal-best distance of 22-7.25 in the long jump to place third overall at the Baldy Castillo Invitational and move into ninth place all-time at UK … Claimed the triple jump title at the Jesse Owens Track Classic with a regional-qualifying leap of 50-4.75 … After almost a four-hour weather delay at the Sea Ray Relays, capitalized on return to the triple jump pit with a leap of 50-6.25 to win the competition.
