Outdoor (Freshman) – Excelled in throws events within multievents with a PR discus throw 33.13 meters / 108′ 8″ at the Kentuckiana Border Battle .. PR javelin throw 46.86 meters / 153′ 9″was recorded at the Miami RedHawk Invitational.

Indoor (Sophomore) – Set a new personal record in four heptathlon events at the SEC Indoor Championships … PR time of 7.60 in the SEC heptathlon 60-meter dash … Reached a new long jump personal-best 6.50 meters / 21’4.0″ eliciting a memorable roar from the entire Kentucky team cheering him on in the stands … Produced a top shot put mark of 11.32 meters/37’01.75″ before completing his career day with a PR high jump 1.86 meters/6’01.25″ at SECs .. PR 400 meters time 54.04 came at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational … PR high jump clearance 1.86 meters / 6′ 1.25″ was also recorded at SECs.

2012 (Freshman)
Indoor: Had standout performance with 2,516 points in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships on his home track, with a career-best time of 7.60 in the 60-meter dash … Finished with career-best height of 1.85m/6-00.75 in the high jump at SECs, which was also third best on team for the season … Posted shot put mark of a 10.65m/34-11.25 at Conference Championships … 200m time of 24.19 at Kentucky Invitational in January registered as fifth-fastest on team in 2012 …Long jump mark of 6.33m/20-09.25 was team’s second-best long jump of season.

High School
Was a seven-time state qualifier in Kentucky, including twice in the high jump, twice in the pole vault, and once in the 4×400-meter relay, discus throw and shot put … Won the indoor pentathlon in the AAU Northern National Championships in 2011 and the pole vault at the Regional 2 AAA Track Meet in 2010 … Finished third as a senior in the Kentucky Indoor Stat Championships in the long jump and 55m hurdles … Finished fourth in the pole vault at the Kentucky Indoor State Championships … Came in fifth at the AAU National Track & Field Championships in the decathlon as a junior, and the javelin as a senior … Finished in fifth in the pole vault as a junior at the Kentucky State Track Meet … Set the school record in the 4x400m relay as a junior … High school track coaches were Arland Benningfield and Matt Hayes … Finished third in graduating class … 4.0 GPA, 4.3 weighted GPA.
