2002: Outdoor ? Ran a season-best 1:48.23 at the SEC Championships to finish sixth? Finished fourth at the Long Beach State Classic in the 400 meters in a season-best time of 48.02… Also ran the distance medley relay during the outdoor season. Indoor ? Finished third in the 800 meters at the SEC East race with a provisional-qualifying time of 1:49.35?Finished 11th in the preliminaries of the 800 meters at the NCAA Championships?Was a member of the distance medley relay team which set a school record with a time of 9:36.19 at the Iowa State Classic and finished 12th an the NCAA Championships.

2001: Outdoor ? Opened the outdoor season with a personal-best time of 47.22 for 400 meters at the Miami Invitational? Ran on the 4 x 800 meter relay team that finished second at the Penn Relays? Finished fourth in the 800 meters at the SEC Championships running a personal-best time of 1:48.10, which was an automatic-qualifying mark for the NCAA Championships and the USATF Senior National Championships. Indoor – Finished sixth in the 800 meters at the SEC Championships with an provisional-qualifying time of 1:49.57… Member of distance medley relay team which finished second at the SEC Championships and seventh at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors while breaking the school record.

2000: Outdoor – Broke freshman record with a time of 1:49.27 in the 800 meters at the SEC Quad Meet… Finished fifth at the SEC Championships with a time of 1:49.90… Member of school-record 4×800-meter relay team that claimed third place at the Penn Relays with a time of 7:19.10 and won the title at the Texas Relays with a time of 7:28.35. Was UK?s top 800-meter runner for with his best showing at the Alex Wilson Invitational with a time of 1:50.58… Finished fourth in the 800 meters at the SEC Championships with a time of 1:50.76.
