2007-08 (Junior): Cross Country – Started transformational season at Eastern Kentucky Invitational finishing third overall and top on the team with a combined 4-mile time of 19:17, shattering his mark at the previous year’s event by 25 seconds … Named the Southeastern Conference Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at EKU … Finished third overall and first on the team with a mark of 25:18 over the 5-mile course at the Old Timers Classic running over one minute and a half faster than last year … Placed 15th overall at 5.2-mile Penn State National Invitational at 26:45. Indoor – Did not compete. Outdoor – Did not compete.
2006-07 (Sophomore): Cross Country – Participated in each of the Wildcats’ six meets … Best finish came at the Old Timers Classic, where he posted a personal-best 5-mile time of 27:05 and finished third on the team and 13th overall … Ninth overall at the EKU Invitational with a 4-mile time of 19:43 … UK’s No. 4 runner at the Greater Louisville Classic where he notched a personal-best 8K time of 26:11. Indoor – Competed in the mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters … Posted a personal-best time of 8:31.53 in the 3,000 meters at the SEC Championships. Outdoor – Participated in the 1,500, 5,000 and 10,000 meters … Had the top 10,000-meter time on the squad in 2007 with a mark of 30:30.67 at the Oregon Invitational beating his personal-best mark by 45 seconds … Finished first in 10,000 meters at the Shamrock Invitational.
