2003: Used a red-shirt season for indoor and outdoor track. Cross Country– Competed in five meets for the Wildcats, finishing 50th at the SEC Championships… Season best time in the 8k was a 26:41.88 mark at the Auburn Invitational…Highest finish of the season was 22nd at the Woodford Country Trials.

High School: Finished third at the Kentucky High School Cross Country Championships in 2001…Also won the regional championships in cross Country in 2001…Was the county 1,600 meters champion in 2001.

Personal: Born February 2, 1984…Son of Mary Ann and Shelby Thompson…Major is biology.
