• Made his season debut at the Rod McCravy Memorial in the men’s DMR event, placing second with a 9:57.48 time
• Posted a personal best time in the 1000m event at the Vanderbilt Invitational, finishing second with a 2:22.89 mark
• Placed eighth in the 800m event at the Tiger Paw Invite with a 1:49.46 time
• At the SEC Championships, he finished 16th in the 800m final and seventh in the DMR final with marks of 1:50.61 and 9:37.91, respectively

• Made his outdoor season debut at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge, placing second in the 800m event with a 1:49.03 time
• Won the 800m final at the Jim Click Shootout Invite with a time of 1:49.48
