1999-00 – One of UK?s top competitors … Broke the 200y butterfly record which had previously been set in 1986 and was the oldest standing record … Placed 10th in the 200y butterfly, 21st in the 200y IM, and 24th in the 100y butterfly at the SEC Championships … Swam the 200y butterfly and the 400y IM at the US Open … Captured both the 200y IM and 200y butterfly in his college debut at the Louisville dual meet … Won the 200y butterfly in dual meets against Indiana and South Carolina … Won the 200y IM in the dual meet against LSU.
