2000-01 ? Swam a leg for the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams that made the NCAA ?B? cuts? Competed at the SEC Championships, placing 28th in the 100 butterfly and 43rd in both the 100 and 50 freestyles… Placed third in 100 freestyle at Cincinnati… Swam at the Texas A&M Invitational, finishing 16th in the 50 and 20th in the 100 freestyles… Member of 200 freestyle team that placed second at Texas A&M Invitational… Against Indiana, placed third in the 1,000 and 50 freestyles, and fourth in 100 freestyle… Claimed 10th-place finishes in both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the SEC East Extravaganza… Finished first in the 50 and 100 freestyles and was a member of the 400 medley relay team that finished first in his first collegiate event vs. Louisville.

Pre-College – An All-America pick in high school… Named Illinois Senior Swimmer of the Year… Finished seventh in the 50 freestyle at Junior Nationals State Championship, third in the 100 freestyle… Also played water polo and was named All-America… Swam for Ed Richardson, Kate Samp, and Ron Jacobsen in high school… Was a member of the National Honor Society… Sister Alison swims for SMU and was a 1998 NCAA champion in the 200 freestyle relay.

Best Times – 50 freestyle – 20.86; 100 freestyle – 46.0
