2001-02 – Saw action in the Louisville, South Carolina and Indiana/Cincinnati dual meets … Competed at the SEC East Extravaganza, placing 18th in the 1,650y freestyle (17:03.22) and 24th in the 100y backstroke (54.82) … Travelled to the Nike Cup where he competed in the 500y freestyle (4:50.14), 100y butterfly (53.08), 100y backstroke (53.38) and 200y backstroke (1:54.46) … Member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, spring 2002.

2000-01 – Competed at the SEC Championships, finishing 20th in the 200 backstroke and 27th in both the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle, establishing career-bests in all three… Garnered a fifth-place finish in the 100 backstroke vs. Tennessee… Placed third in the 1,000 freestyle and fourth in the 100 backstroke at Cincinnati… Competed at the Texas A&M Invitational, placing 14th in the 200 backstroke… Placed fourth in the 50 freestyle vs. IUPUI, the only time he competed in the event all season… Took fifth in both the 1,000 freestyle and 200 backstroke at Indiana… Finished 11th in the 200 backstroke and 14th in the 1,000 freestyle at the SEC East Extravaganza… Started collegiate career with a second-place finish in the 1,000 freestyle and a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke against Louisville.
