Major – Business Management

1998-99 – Made a major impact as a freshman… UK’s top returning butterflier… Met the NCAA “A” cut in the 200 butterfly… Met the NCAA “B” cut in the 200, 500, and 1,650 freestyles in addition to the 100 butterfly… Swam the 100 and 200 butterfly and the 500 freestyle at NCAAs… Swam on UK’s school record breaking 800 freestyle relay… Third all-time fastest UK performer in both butterflies… Ranks in UK’s all-time top ten in six other events… Finished fourth in the 200 butterfly, sixth in the 1,650 freestyle, and 12th in the 500 freestyle at SECs… Won the 1,000 freestyle in the LSU-Texas A&M tri-meet… Won the 500 and 1,000 freestyles against Indiana… Captured the 200 butterfly against Alabama… Named honorable mention Academic All-American.

Pre-College – High point recipient at 1997 Virginia Swim Club Senior Championships… Swam for Grafton High School’s state championship squad… Member of National Honor Society… Swam for the Blue Dolphins under Steve Parker.
