2017-18 (Freshman): Competed primarily in middle distance free and butterfly throughout the dual season … Ended his rookie campaign by posting best times in both the 500 free and 100 fly at the Ohio State Winter Invite … Finished third overall in the 500 free with a time of 4:30.20 … Named to SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to UK: Multi-time finalist at Georgia 6A State Championships … Helped Brookwood High School to back-to-back state championships in 2016 and 2017 … high school record-holder in five events, including two individual and three relay records … Swam for Swim Atlanta club team … Also played baseball in high school.
