2013>> Named an ITA All-American … One of the best players in the nation, going 21-7 during the season, and named a First Team All-SEC member … Named SEC Player of the Week two times … Had a season-high five-match winning streak at two different points during the season … Biggest win of the season came against No. 4 Peter Kobelt of Ohio State, as Jomby won 6-3, 7-6 (3) … Defeated 10 players ranked in the top 75 of the nation at the time of the matches … Was the first singles court done, and won his match on seven different occasions … Went undefeated at the ITA National Team Indoors, defeating No. 58 and No. 54 in the country … Also was top five in the nation in doubles teaming with freshman Kevin Lai … Duo went 18-8 on the year and finished the season ranked No. 9 in the nation … Had seven wins against teams in the top 50 as a duo … All matches were played on court one … Played three matches against top-10 teams, and went 2-0 with one match not finishing … Knocked off No. 3 pair from Auburn and No. 5 pair from Texas A&M.

Fall 2011>> Went 11-5 in singles action, advancing deep into several tournaments en route to a ranking of No. 95 … Started the fall by going 3-1 in singles at the Olympia Fields Fighting Illini Invitational, including a win over Daniil Proskura of Alabama, who would eventually be ranked 91st in the nation … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Indoor Championships before falling to teammate Anthony Rossi … Made a fantastic run at the SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships, defeating then-No. 26 Ignacio Taboada of Georgia en route to an appearance in the quarterfinals … Went 7-3 in doubles action, mostly with Rossi … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiate with Rossi, while also making it to the round of 16 in the SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships with Rossi.

Spring 2011>> Became a staple at the No. 6 singles position after not competing in the fall season … Earned an impressive 14-9 singles record, including an 8-5 mark in SEC play … Named to the SEC All-Freshman team … Started his collegiate career in style by earning singles wins against No. 5 Texas, No. 13 Texas Tech and No. 16 Illinois in his first four matches as a Wildcat … Also helped UK by posting singles wins over No. 3 Tennessee , No. 7 Florida, No. 20 Auburn, No. 21 Notre Dame, No. 37 Alabama and No. 43 Mississippi State … The win against Florida was the clinching point in the Wildcats’ NCAA Tournament Round of 16 victory over the Gators … Went 1-0 in Kentucky’s run to the SEC Championship match and was in good position to earn a singles point against Georgia in the semifinals when the Wildcats clinched the match … Spent time ranked in doubles with senior Alberto Gonzalez, with the duo peaking at No. 41 … Posted a 14-10 record in doubles, including a 6-4 mark in the SEC … Defeated four ranked foes in doubles action, including Georgia’s duo of Sadio Doumbia and Ignacio Taboada, twice … Doumbia/Taboada were ranked No. 36 the first time Jomby/Gonzalez took them down and then No. 64 the second time.

Pre-College>> Played in the main draw in Poitiers … Won several regional events in juniors … Played in the French National Championships … Performed well in several futures tournaments over the past few years.

Personal>> Born Feb. 18, 1991 … Originally from France … Brother played professional basketball overseas.
