2001 – Named MAC Newcomer of the Year and first team All-MAC… National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Great Lakes Region third team… Started all 20 games in which he played… Led team in points with 19 and goals with eight… Tied for team lead with three game-winning goals, including two in MAC play… Scored the game-tying goal against former team Ohio State with less than four minutes remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime… Had two multi-goal games, netting two scores in a three-minute span at Bowling Green and two in less than a minute at home against Buffalo… Named MAC Player of the Week for performance against Buffalo… Assisted game-winner at Western Michigan and assisted two goals in 4-0 win at Northern Illinois.

1998-99 – Played for Ohio State University… Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in leading the Buckeyes with 15 points and seven goals… Started 16 of 20 games at left midfielder as a sophomore, scoring three goals and notching three assists.
