Melissa Tomlinson enters her ninth season in the Kentucky football office in 2026, including her fourth as the executive assistant to the head coach. In her current role, she provides critical administrative support and helps manage the day-to-day operations of the head coach’s office.

Prior to her promotion, Tomlinson served four seasons (2018–21) as the assistant to recruiting operations, where she played an integral role in coordinating recruiting logistics and supporting the program’s personnel efforts.

A Lexington, Kentucky native, Tomlinson graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2001 with bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and psychology.

She and her husband, Jerae, have three children: Isaiah, Myles and Malia.
