2006 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in all 13 games, starting six … Made significant improvement as the season progressed … Had the best performance of his career, recording four tackles, 3.5 for a loss, and his first two collegiate sacks in the win over Vanderbilt … Had a season-high five tackles vs. UL-Monroe, plus a stop on the two-point conversion that saved UK’s win over the Warhawks … Followed with a sack at Tennessee, causing a fumble in the process, and notched another sack in the Music City Bowl win over Clemson … Recovered a fumble vs. Georgia, setting up a touchdown drive in UK’s upset victory … Made at least one tackle in every game, totaling 30 for the season … Tied for second on the team in tackles for loss with 6.5 … Also had four pass breakups.

2005 (Freshman): Redshirted … Got a late start on the season after sustaining a shoulder injury in the summer of 2005 … Returned to practice in mid-season … Earned the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week honor in helping the team prepare for the win over Vanderbilt.

High School: Three-year letterman and two-year starter at Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn. … Came on strong during his senior season, collecting approximately 50 tackles, including 20 tackles for loss, and 10 quarterback sacks while also causing several fumbles … Helped lead team to a 10-3 record, reaching the quarterfinals of the Class AAAAA (largest classification) playoffs … All-district, all-region, and honorable-mention all-state … Played fullback and tight end on offense … Named to the Shelby County metro area elite team by the Memphis Commercial-Appeal … Member of the winning team in the Shelby County Metro All-Star Game … Played in the Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star Game in June, 2005 … Has a tremendous upside for physical maturity, as he graduated from high school at age 17 … Has run the 40-yard dash in 4.71 seconds, an excellent clocking for a defensive lineman … Coached by Tim Haney … “Jeremy has a great will to win and is a hard worker,” Haney said. “Because he’s only 17, his best success is ahead of him if he continues to work hard.
