• Accepted a preferred walk-on position after a stellar career at Brentwood Academy

• Helped lead the Eagles to a 33-12 record during his four seasons as a starter on the defensive line
• Finished with 78 tackles, 6.0 sacks, 5.0 tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries as a senior
• Earned All-Region honors
• Named a Tennessee East-West All-Star
• Also played basketball and was on the wrestling and track teams at Brentwood Academy
• Chose Kentucky over Southeast Missouri State and Tennessee-Martin
