  • Tyler “Ty” Williams joined the Kentucky Football program as the assistant director of player personnel in 2019. 
  • In his role, he works directly with the offensive coordinator to organize offensive recruiting and assists the general manager with planning, official visits and other day-to-day duties … Analyzes film, evaluates potential prospects, hosts official and unofficial visits, and helps manage a 15-person student-worker staff … Additionally, assists with the academic evaluations/NCAA EC tasks and the onboarding of UK signees. 
  • Prior to Kentucky, Williams spent two seasons (2017-18) as a recruiting graduate assistant at Missouri where he worked with the offensive coordinator and helped organize his recruiting and travel … Provided tours of campus to prospects, assisted the director of recruiting with planning of recruiting visits and set up those visits for prospects and their families … Also coordinated tickets for prospects and high school coaches. 
  • Got his start in recruiting at his alma mater, Kansas, serving as an operations and special teams assistant in 2016. 
  • While a student at Kansas, Williams served as a defensive football manager from 2011-14. 
  • Promoted to head football manager for the Jayhawks during the 2014 and 2015 seasons. 
  • The Lawrence, Kansas native graduated from KU in 2015 with a degree in general studies.
