Brinkley Berch enters her eighth season with the Kentucky football program in 2026 and her third as Assistant Director of Operations.
In her current role, Berch manages a wide range of recruiting and operations responsibilities. She coordinates logistics for official and unofficial visits, oversees summer camp operations, and assists in the planning and execution of game-day events. Additionally, she supports team logistics and travel while managing recruiting finances, playing a key role in the program’s day-to-day operations.
Berch’s leadership and professional growth were recognized nationally in 2025 when she was selected as one of just 40 women invited to attend the NFL Women’s Forum, an exclusive event designed to connect and develop women pursuing careers in professional football.
Her Kentucky journey began in 2019 as a student assistant. She advanced to serve as a recruiting and operations graduate assistant from 2022–24 before being elevated to her current position.
Prior to transferring to Kentucky, Berch spent two seasons at Kennesaw State as a student equipment manager. She was involved in all aspects of gameday and practice equipment operations and assisted with the daily management of the equipment room. In 2018, she was named co-head student equipment manager. During her time with the Owls, the program captured back-to-back Big South Conference Championships in just its third and fourth seasons.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Berch earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communication with a minor in coaching from Kentucky in December 2021. She went on to receive a master’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion with a concentration in sports leadership from UK in December 2023.
