2003: Outdoor – NCAA finalist in the 5,000 meters… Ran 14:06.51 in the NCAA preliminaries to advance to the 5,000-meter final… Placed fifth at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships to automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships… Ran a personal best of 13:58.39 in the 5,000 meters at the Cardinal Qualifier… Placed third at the SEC Championships in the Steeplechase with a personal best time of 8:59.14… Placed third at the SEC Championships in the 5,000-meter run… Ran a personal best of 3:44.94 in the 1,500 meters at the Sea Ray Relays. Indoor – Earned his second All-American honor by anchoring the seventh place Distance Medley Relay at the NCAA Championships… Placed fifth at the SEC Championships in the 3,000-meter run with a season best time of 8:09.82… Ran a seasonal best 14:07.46 at the Tyson Invitational in the 5,000 meters… Won the mile and 3,000 meters at the SEC Challenge.

2002: Outdoor – Sat out season as a redshirt… While competing unattached, won the 5,000 meters at the Sea Ray Relays… Finished fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Penn Relays with a personal-best time of 14:05.18… Ran a season-best time of 3:46.66 for the 1,500 meters at the Georgia Tech Last Chance Meet. Indoor – Took fifth place in the 5,000 meters at the SEC Championships with a then-personal best time of 14:22.06…Placed sixth at the SEC Championships in the 3,000-meter run with a 8:10.29 performance…Ran a personal-best time of 8:08.15 for the 3,000 meters at the Tyson Invitational…Anchored the school-record setting distance medley relay team at the Cyclone Classic with a 4:02 split… Took first place in the 3,000-meter run at the SEC East meet… Won the mile race at the Kentucky Invitational. Cross Country– Finished sixth in the season-opening Woodford County Trials…Followed up with a third-place finish at the Loyola Lakeshore Invitational…Finished third at the Cardinal Open before taking 39th out of 242 runners at the Furman Invitational…Finished ninth at the SEC Championships with a time of 24:42.88…At the NCAA Regional, finished 19th to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships… Finished 159th at the NCAA Championships… Earned All-SEC and All-Region honors.

2001: Outdoor – Ran a 3:48.92 to establish a then-personal best for the 1,500-meter run at the Mt. Sac Relays… Was a member of the school record-setting 4 x mile relay team at Penn Relays… Was an SEC Championship finalist in the 1,500 meters, placing 7th…Ran a time of 3:46.02 for the 1500 meters at Georgia Tech. Indoor – Member of second-place SEC distance medley relay team which advanced to the NCAA meet and finished seventh to earn All-America honors, breaking the school record… Ran a personal-best 4:08.54 in the mile at Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational..Finished sixth at the SEC Championships in the 3,000-meter run. Cross Country – Finished seventh at the Crimson Classic in a time of 24:06.

2000: Outdoor – Led team in the 1,500 meters with a top time of 3:49.87… Also ran an 8:38.80 in the 3,000 meters… Member of school-record 4×800-meter relay team that claimed third place at the Penn Relays with a time of 7:19.10 and first at the Texas Relays with a time of 7:28.35. Indoor – Ran the 800 meters in 1:52.97 at the Alex Wilson Invitational… Ran a solid 4:12.30 mile in the preliminaries of the SEC Championships.

High School: Won state title in the mile at the 1999 Kentucky Class 2A Championships, while finishing second in the 800 meters… Scored 20 of Lexington Catholic’s 33 team points at the 1999 state championships… Finished ninth in the 1998 Kentucky Class 2A Cross Country Championships… Was named first-team All-State in cross country and track.

Personal: Born May 10, 1981… Parents are Louise and John Morgan… Brother Jack is on the UK track team… Majoring in finance.
