Played in 30 games as a freshman, making 12 starts at third base … Finished hitting .140 (6-for-43) with four runs, one homer and seven RBI, stealing 1-of-2 bases and owning a 6-9 walk-strikeout ratio … Went 3-for-4 vs. Bowling Green on April 22, belting his first career homer … Had Michigan’s game-winning RBI in the eighth inning of a March 29 win over Iowa … Had two RBI in a tilt vs. Nebraska … Made first career start on March 1 vs. Appalachian State … Had a single, two walks and a steal in a win over Purdue … Played for coach Erick Bakich.
