2002: Earned first start as a Wildcat in UK’s 18-17 loss to Pepperdine at the Aggie Baseball Classic in College Station, Texas (2/24)… Listed in the starting lineup 18 times including his first start vs. the Waves… Got the starting nod at designated hitter in a 14-6 win over Western Michigan (3/5)… Hit safely in his first four games… Collected his first career hit vs. Pepperdine (2/24)… Doubled in the Cats’ 3-1 upset of No. 17 Texas A&M (2/25)… First start in SEC play was at Auburn on March 15… Doubled and scored a run in the Cats’ 14-4 win over Marshall (4/9)… Hit safely in six out of seven games played from April 7 to 17… Ended the season with five doubles.

2001: Redshirt season.
