PRIOR TO KENTUCKY
Started seven games for Houston in 2024 after a stint in junior college…Did not record a decion but flashed excellent stuff and struck out 46 in just 34.1 innings (12.1 strikeouts per nine innings) and had his longest outing of his career in his final game before injury.
2024 (HOUSTON)
Started all seven games in which he appeared for Houston, but did not record a decision…Pitched to a 3.41 ERA and had better than a 4:1 strikeout to walk ratio for the Cougars…Pitched a career-best 6.1 innings vs TCU and also struck out 13 at BYU…Was Houston’s opening day starter…Struck out least six in five of his seven starts.
2023 (SOUTH MOUNTAIN CC)
Made 14 starts, going 7-2 with a 3.81 ERA…Pitched 75.2 innings, striking out 98 (11.66 K/9)…Had two complete games and ied for the team high in wins.
2022 (NEBRASKA)
Made six appearances for his homestate Huskers…Went 1-1 with a 2.31 ERA…Allowed just a .195 batting average against as a freshman…Pitched 11.2 innings, allowing just eight hits and three runs.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Bellevue West, where he earned all state honors…In 12 games as a senior he allowed just two extra base hits in 52.1 innings and struck out 80 with a 1.20 ERA…In 2021 amd 2020, was a Perfect Game Preseason all-american and all-region honoree…Won the 2019 WWBA Kernels Foundation Championship.
