Played for the Kenosha Kingfish of the Northwoods League…Proved to be one of the top bats in the league, batting .322 in 180 at-bats (58 hits) with an OPS of .917…Was named to the NWL All-Star Game and the Postseason All-Star Team…Honored with the Rawlings “Big Stick” Award as best hitting catcher in the league…Had a 21-game reached base safely streak to open the summer, which included an 18-game hit streak…Scored 42 runs and drove in 39…Had 14 doubles, three triples and three home runs…Stole eight bases in 10 attempts…Collected 15 multi-hit games, including two four-hit games…Was incredible during opening week, batting .500 with nine runs, 13 RBI, four doubles, two home runs and three steals.
