BIO

Taylor Soule, who played an instrumental role on Kenny Brooks’ Virginia Tech team that won the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Title and competed in the Final Four in 2022-23, enters her first season as a program assistant for the Wildcats.

Soule, who was drafted as the 28th overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, is coming off a professional career that was paused due to an injury. Her time on the professional circuit included the Chicago Sky (2023), San Martino Di Lupari in Italy (Fall 2023), Minnesota Lynx (2024) and MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec in Poland (2024-25).

Before that, she played and started all 36 games for Virginia Tech in 2022-23, averaging 10.9 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game to help her team to a 31-5 overall record and be named to the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List, Wooden Award Watch List, All-ACC Second Team and ACC All-Tournament Second Team. Prior to her time in Blacksburg, she was a four-year letterwinner at Boston College, where she eclipsed 1,500 career points and earned three more All-ACC honors during her Eagles career from 2018-19 to 2021-22.
