BIO

Paul Rodriguez was named a graduate assistant for the offensive line in April of 2025, transitioning into a coaching role after his playing career with the Wildcats.

Rodriguez arrived at Kentucky in 2021 following a standout prep career at William Mason High School in Ohio. He redshirted during the 2021 season before appearing in a combined 22 games across the 2022 and 2023 campaigns, providing depth and development along the offensive front. After being sidelined for the 2024 season due to a medical issue, Rodriguez remained actively involved with the program, volunteering as a student coach and continuing to invest in the growth of the Big Blue Wall.

A two-time Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection, Rodriguez graduated in May 2025 with a degree in integrated strategic communication. He is currently working on a master’s degree in sport leadership.

A native of Mason, Ohio, Rodriguez was a three-year letter winner and starter under head coach Brian Castner at William Mason. He helped lead the Comets to a 5-3 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the Greater Miami Conference in 2020. Rodriguez earned first-team All-Conference honors from the GMC and was named to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky 2020 Fall Sports All-Stars First Team. In addition to his offensive line duties, he also contributed on the defensive line as a defensive tackle.
