Anna Marsh is entering her first season as an assistant coach in 2026. Marsh was a Wildcat gymnast from 2019-2022, earning All-SEC honors in 2021. The Cincinnati, Ohio native also served as a volunteer assistant coach for Kentucky in 2023, helping guide the Wildcats to the program’s second berth to the NCAA National Semifinals.

As a gymnast at Kentucky, Marsh competed on both the balance beam and floor exercise. Marsh earned two career wins on the floor and scored a career-high 9.975 on the apparatus against Michigan State in March 2022, ranking her No. 4 all-time at Kentucky. Marsh also posted a career-high beam score of 9.850 in the 2022 NCAA Auburn Regional.

In 2022, Marsh competed ten floor routines, with all ten scoring at 9.850 or better. The Wildcat scored 9.900 or better five times, highlighted by a near-perfect 9.975 on her Senior Night to win the event title. Marsh also competed on the beam five times that season, including both meets at the 2022 NCAA Auburn Regional. During the regional semifinals, Marsh posted her best two-event total of her career, posting a career high 9.850 on the beam and a 9.950 on the floor.

In 2021, Marsh competed in every meet on floor, scoring 9.900 or better five times. Marsh posted a season high 9.925 on floor twice, once in a dual meet against Auburn to earn her first career event title and again at the SEC Championships to earn All-SEC distinction. At the 2021 NCAA Utah Regional, Marsh posted a 9.900 in both the semifinal and final. Marsh also competed on beam six times during the season, earning a season-high 9.800 against Alabama.

Marsh did not compete during the 2019 season and featured in a pair of beam rotations in 2020. Marsh earned WCGA Scholastic All-America and SEC Academic Honor Roll distinction in all four years at Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in May 2022.

After exhausting her athletic eligibility in 2022, Marsh stayed with the program and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2023 season. The Wildcats enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in program history, advancing to the NCAA National Semifinals for just the second time in program history and earning a program-best final ranking of No. 6. During that campaign, the Wildcats posted their first undefeated home slate since 1984 and five Wildcats earned either All-SEC or All-America distinction.

After her stint as a volunteer assistant coach, Marsh continued to coach gymnastics at the youth level, working at Perfection Gymnastics in Cincinnati.
