Sophomore (2018): Threw a no-hitter in her first-career D1 start against North Dakota State in a 2-0 win, becoming the first-ever player to do that in UK history … Three top-10 wins in the circle (LSU, A&M, Georgia) … Earned her first-career save against Ohio on March 3 … Picked up her fourth win of the season vs. SEMO, going 4.0 innings … Set a new career high in strikeouts with five in home opener vs. Dayton … Then broke that career-record by striking out nine Florida batters in a complete game performance – the only two other teams to strike out UF nine times this season are Michigan and Baylor … Got her first-career SEC win over No. 8 LSU in a complete-game shutout performance in game two of the series to clinch the series … Pitched all 12 innings in a 1-0 loss to #11 Auburn on a walk-off HR in the bottom of the 12th … Hit her first-career HR vs. EKU … Earned her second-career top-10 win at #9 Texas A&M in a five-inning relief outing. 

Pre-College / Freshman Year with Harding University (DII, Arkansas): Humes joins the Wildcats from Harding University in Arkansas, where she went 33-3 in 2017 as a freshman in the circle with a 1.19 ERA in 49 games. She also was stellar at the plate, hitting at a .346 clip with 24 runs scored, seven home runs and 53 runs batted in. She was named the national DII Freshman of the Year in addition to being named as part of the NFCA’s Second Team All-America for the DII level. Humes was the Great America Conference Freshman of the Year and three-time conference Pitcher of the Week. She was named All-League both defensively as a pitcher (first team) and offensively (second team) as a hitter – all whilst winning the conference MVP award. A native of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Humes played her travel ball for the Arkansas Heat Gold and Texas Glory-Ratliff. While in high school, she hit a career .520 with over 150 runs scored, 31 home runs, 190 RBI and 22 triples. As a pitcher in high school, she had a four-year ERA of 0.70 in 264+ innings and 89 wins in the circle.
