LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (9-15, 1-14 SEC) fell to Ole Miss, 4-0, on Senior Day Saturday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.

Prior to the match, Kentucky honored Zoe Hammond, Ellie Myers, and student trainer Ella Cooper for their dedication and impact on the program, celebrating their careers in front of the home crowd.

Doubles play opened with Ole Miss gaining early momentum, securing a win on court one as No. 13 Andrea Nova and Emily Welker defeated No. 57 Reese Sager and Asuncion Jadue, 6-1.

The Rebels followed with another victory on court two, where Riley Crowder and Alice Soulie topped Julia Zhu and Donna Le Roux, 6-1, to clinch the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead.

The match on court three, featuring the senior duo of Zoe Hammond and Ellie Myers, was left unfinished at 4-2.

The Wildcats aimed to strike back, but Ole Miss carried that momentum into singles play, striking first on court one as No. 18 Emily Welker defeated No. 73 Hammond, 6-2, 6-1, to extend the lead.

The Rebels added another point on court three, with Andrea Nova earning a 6-0, 6-3 win over Elena Molla to make it 3-0. Just within seconds, Ole Miss clinched the victory on court six, where Beatrice Stagno defeated Myers to secure the 4-0 result.

Matches on courts two, four and five, featuring Julia Zhu, Asuncion Jadue and Donna Le Roux, were left unfinished.

The women’s tennis squad will now head to Norman, Oklahoma while they await hearing who they will compete against at the 2026 SEC Championship next week.
