LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (9-13, 1-12 SEC) host two SEC opponents to close out the regular season on Thursday and Saturday with LSU and Ole Miss coming to town. The Wildcats will host No. 12 LSU (14-7, 7-6 SEC) on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET and then host senior day against No. 38 Ole Miss (11-9, 5-8 SEC) on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.

The Wildcats are coming off a super close match down in Columbia, S.C. against the No. 33 Gamecocks last Saturday. Kentucky led most of the way, but ultimately were defeated in a super close battle, 4-3.

Two singles Wildcats cracked the top 100 with senior Zoe Hammond leading the charge at No. 73 and junior Julia Zhu checking in at No. 99. After a big doubles win against the No. 12 pair last week, freshman Reese Sager and sophomore Asuncion Jadue entered the rankings for the first time this season at No. 57.

No. 12 LSU (14-7, 7-6 SEC) is led by ranked singles players in No. 26 Cadence Brace, No. 44 Kayla Cross, No. 117 Kinaa Graham, and No. 199 Addison Lanton. In doubles, No. 16 Ella McDonald/Kayla Cross, No. 30 Ella McDonald/Kenna Erickson, and No. 63 Cadence Brace/Kayla Cross.

No. 38 Ole Miss (11-9, 5-8 SEC) are led by singles No. 18 Emily Welker. In doubles they have a ranked pair in No. 13 Andrea Nova/Emily Welker.
