BATON ROUGE, La. – No. 22 Kentucky (15-10, 5-7 SEC) is set to wrap up the 2026 regular season on the road this weekend. The Wildcats will open up the road swing with a double header in Baton Rouge, facing Nicholls (4-12, 0-4 SLC) at 11 a.m. ET and No. 5 LSU (23-5, 9-4 SEC) at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday, April 10. Kentucky will close out the regular season in Oxford on Sunday, April 12, facing No. 25 Ole Miss (17-7, 5-7 SEC) at 1 p.m. ET.

After upsetting No. 12 Georgia last weekend, the Cats re-entered the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Top 25, sitting at No. 22 in the final rankings of the regular season. This is Kentucky’s second appearance in the ITA Top 25 this season after debuting at No. 23 on January 21.

With a pair of top 25 matches to close out the regular season, Kentucky is set to end Southeastern Conference play with its last eight league matches against top 25 opponents. Overall, the Cats have played 13 matches against ranked foes entering this week, including nine in SEC play, going 6-7 in those contests. The SEC leads the nation with 12 teams inside this week’s top 25.

With a top 15 doubles win and the clinching singles point against Georgia last week, Jack Loutit earned SEC Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career. Loutit joined Eli Stephenson and Mikael Arseneault as Cats that have earned SEC Weekly Honors this season, with the former winning Player of the Week and the latter garnering Freshman of the Week on February 4.

Kentucky maintained its four entries in this week’s ITA Singles Rankings, led by Stephenson at No. 20. No. 78 Loutit, No. 80 Nicolas Arseneault, and No. 97 Charlelie Cosnet round out the group. Stephenson is a top 20 player in both singles and doubles, slotting at No. 16 in the ITA Doubles Rankings alongside Loutit. Cosnet and fellow senior Martin Breysach sit at No. 89 in the doubles rankings.

Kentucky will open postseason play at the 2026 SEC Men’s Tennis Championship next week, slated to run from April 15-19 at the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas. The full bracket and confirmed times and matchups will be announced following the conclusion on regular season play on Sunday.
