ATLANTA – Halfway through competition for the men’s swimming and dive program at the 2026 NCAA Championship, and the Wildcats sit at No. 13 on the team leaderboard, thanks to Thursdays scoring 200 free relay team.

In the third heat of the 200 free relay action this morning during prelims, the relay of freshman Falemana Tuufui, freshman Lysander Osman, junior Justin Peresse, and junior AJ Terry swam a 1:16.03. That time was not only another program record for the group, but the 16th best finish. Finishing in the top 16 means that the squad gained some more points for the blue and white on the leaderboard.

In the relay, Tuufui had an incredible 50 free split of 18.90, a new program best for the French freshman once again.

Levi Sandidge took the pool once again after a third place finish in the mile Wednesday night, swimming the 400 IM in 3:42.26 for 23rd place overall.

Also swimming in prelims was sophomore Adomas Gatulis in the 100 breast (51.79) finishing 22nd overall.

The Wildcats sit at No. 13 with 51 points halfway through the championship. There will be more swimming for the Wildcats tomorrow in Atlanta, with prelims starting at 10 a.m. and finals a bit later at 6 p.m. ET.
