OCALA, Fla. – It was an exciting day for the Kentucky women’s swimming team, as they took home the CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Saturday evening. They were led by this week’s top scorer for the Wildcats in sophomore Katy Jost, who had a great week.

On Saturday, Jost swam for third in the 1650 free in 16:26.84. She also doubled up, swimming the 1000 free in 9:58.07 for fourth. Paige Housman racked up quite a few points on day three as well, finishing fifth in both the 1650 free (16:29.77) and 1000 free (9:59.37).\

Libby Grether finished 10th in the 200 back (1:59.83), freshman Sarah Anne Shaffer notched a second place in the 200 breast in 2:10.27.

On the men’s side, Cayden Pitzer finished second in the 100 IM in 48.45.

Overall, it was strong week for the Wildcats in Ocala, coming home with the Championship was the perfect finish. Although this squad has completed the 2025-26 competition season for Kentucky, 12 others will now look towards NCAA Championship in Atlanta, where they will finish the official collegiate season.
