Rifle Set to Begin GARC Championships Saturday at Army West Point
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Postseason competition is here for the No. 1 University of Kentucky rifle team as the Wildcats head to Army West Point this weekend for the 2026 Great America Rifle Conference Championships.

Each day is set for an 8:30 a.m. ET start with Saturday’s second relay beginning at 10:45 a.m. ET and Sunday’s second relay starting at 10:30 a.m. ET. An eight-person individual final will be held at the conclusion of each day in the respective disciplines. Live targets and a NCAA Scorecard will be available online at UKathletics.com.
Kentucky will be joined at the event by Akron, Army, Navy, Memphis and West Virginia.
“Excited to get postseason competition underway and it’s always a good trip to Army West Point,” UK head coach Harry Mullins said. “Now that the NCAA Championships are set, we have one more chance to all be in the range together and compete. It is important for the team to really lock-in this weekend and get in the flow of the two-day, split-relay format because that is what faces us at NCAAs as well.”
