Player Notes  

  • Otega Oweh scored a season-high 24 points, his ninth 20-point game of the season, all coming in the last 13 games. He also led the team with eight rebounds and tied for the team lead with three assists
    • He has tallied at least 20 in seven of nine SEC games.
    • He has scored in double figures in all 22 games this season. He has a total streak of 25 games dating back to last season.
    • This marks the 15th, 20-point game for Oweh at Kentucky against SEC opponents, the second-most at UK since 1996-97 trailing only Antonio Reeves (19)
    • Oweh posted his 22nd, 20-point game for the Wildcats, tying Joe Crawford and Tayshaun Prince for the sixth-most at Kentucky since 1996-97
    • Oweh is the first Kentucky player with at least 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a true road game against a top-25 opponent since Jodie Meeks at No. 24 Tennessee on Jan. 13, 2009
  • Denzel Aberdeen notched 10 points and three assists. He has hit double figures in 15 games this season, including six of the last seven.
  • Collin Chandler totaled 13 points. He has scored in double figures 12 times this season. It was also his 12th game this season with multiple made 3s, going 2-of-4 from distance
  • Malachi Moreno had 11 points, all coming in the second half. He added two blocks, his 11th game with multiple blocks this season.
    • Moreno led the team in +/- at +16
    • He had a team high five offensive rebounds
  • Trent Noah had nine points, his most in an SEC game this season and a career-high seven rebounds
  • Kentucky is currently missing Jayden Quaintance, Kam Williams and Jaland Lowe because of injury. Lowe is out for the season.

In the First Half

  • Kentucky started the combination of Denzel Aberdeen, Collin Chandler, Otega Oweh, Andrija Jelavic and Malachi Moreno for the third consecutive game.

  • After a series of technical fouls from Kentucky, Arkansas took its first lead of the night, 52-51, at 14:27
  • Kentucky retook the lead at 9:31, 61-59 after two free throws from Trent Noah
  • The Wildcats held a 75-69 advantage at the under four media timeout
  • Arkansas would get no closer the rest of the way
