Seth McGowan Accepts Invite to Panini Senior Bowl

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky senior running back Seth McGowan has accepted an invitation to participate in the Panini Senior Bowl, to be played January 31, 2026 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.

Kickoff is at 2:30 ET/1:30 CT (local) and the game will be televised on the NFL Network. Tickets can be purchased at SeniorBowl.com. A Fan Fest will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT before the game.

McGowan, from Mesquite, Texas, became one of the Wildcats’ most consistent and effective offensive weapons during the 2025 season. The running back rushed 165 times for 725 yards and 12 scores on the ground and added 19 receptions for 126 yards. He had 100-yard rushing games against Eastern Michigan and Georgia.

McGowan ranked among the Southeastern Conference and nation’s best with his 12 rushing touchdowns, ranking fourth in the conference and 29th nationally. He ranked 10th in the SEC in rushing yards.

The former Oklahoma and New Mexico State transfer finished with 1,918 career rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

The Panini Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama, the past 76 years.  More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 106 total picks, representing 40 percent of the entire NFL draft.
