LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky swimming program will be represented by 12 individuals at the 2025 World Aquatics World Cup on Oct. 10-12 in Carmel, Ind. The competition will feature some of the greatest names in the sport of swimming, which includes many Wildcats.

Among those representing Kentucky: Carson Hick (USA), Levi Sandidge (USA), Devin Naoroz (USA), John Rom (Israel), Adomas Gatulis (Lithuania), Javier Lopez Guillen (Spain), Lysander Osman (France), Falemana Tuufui (France), Esteban Nunez Del Prado (Bolivia), Caue Gluck (Brazil), Dziugas Miskinis (Lithuania), and Sharon Guererro Cho (Mexico).

Hick, the first time USA National Team member, will be a highlight for the Wildcats in his first international meet since being officially recognized by USA Swimming as a part of the 2025-26 team. The junior performed well alongside senior Sandidge this summer, and both hope to do so again.

Naoroz is fairly new to the international meet scene, as a junior. Rom, Gatulis, and the rest of the Wildcats have plenty of experience internationally, although they are young.

The Wildcats will begin race weekend on Friday in Carmel, with preliminary rounds at 10 a.m. EST and finals at 6 p.m. EST every day of competition. All of the details of results, where to watch, event entries, order of events, and more can be found online here at the World Aquatics webpage.
