- Kentucky is 2-2 overall, 0-2 in the Southeastern Conference. South Carolina is 3-2 overall, 1-2 in league play.

- Kentucky scored on its opening drive for the second straight week after Seth McGowan went up the middle for a 20-yard touchdown rushing.
- UK also scored a field goal on its second drive. Ten points is the most points that UK has scored in the first quarter against South Carolina in Columbia since Sept.12, 2015 (14).
- Kentucky went 2-of-2 in the red zone, moving to 16-of-17 through four games.
- Kentucky’s defense made two fourth-down stops – one late in the third quarter and a second late in the fourth quarter – giving the Wildcats eight turnovers on downs this season.

- QB Cutter Boley completed 10-of-19 pass attempts for 124 yards.
- It marked his first SEC start.
- He is the first UK QB to start an SEC road game as a freshman since Maxwell Smith at Georgia on Nov. 19, 2011.
- RB Seth McGowan rushed 17 times for 112 yards and one touchdown.
- It is his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game and third of his career.
- He is the first UK player with at least 75 yards rushing and a touchdown rushing in each of the first four games of the season since George Adams in 1984.
