LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2025-26 Kentucky swimming and diving program is set to host their annual blue/white intrasquad meet on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Lancaster Aquatic Center at 4 p.m., which notches the official start to the season for the Wildcats. Admission will be free to all home swim and dive events, with doors on Friday opening at 2 p.m. for fans.

The blue/white meet is one of five chances for fans to catch the swim and dive Cats at home this season, with the next opportunity being Oct. 22 against Indiana. Notre Dame will come to town Jan. 9 and Missouri the following day, Jan. 10. The last home meet, which will also be senior day, will be against Cincinnati on Jan. 30.

The Kentucky squad is coming off a successful 2024-25 season, summer of international meets, training, and more. Junior Carson Hick was named to the USA National Team for the year, sophomore Avery Giese won bronze at the World University Games, and senior Levi Sandidge won a silver medal at the 2025 SEC Championship just to name a few of the impressive, accomplished athletes that have returned to Lexington.

Pairing the 29 experienced returners with 21 newcomers, the Wildcats have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Fans can get a first look at the new squad Friday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m., with admission being free and doors opening at 2 p.m.
