15 Wildcats Receive 2024-25 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – 15 current and former Kentucky Wildcats have been named to the Sun Belt Conference’s Academic Honors list for the 2024-25 season, per the release from the conference office Thursday afternoon.

Five current and former Wildcats made the SBC Academic Honor roll, including Iker Carew, Casper Mols, Marqes Muir, Kaden Pollard and Bains Smith.

10 Wildcats were named to the SBC Commissioner’s List, including current players Bertil Alban, Isaiah Chisolm, Josh Gordon, Max Miller, Eric Onos and Oliver Stavdal, and former players in Ely Detty, Ryan Jack, Harald Race and Martin Soereide.

Over 3,300 student-athletes were placed on the Sun Belt Academic Honors list. Those recognized include 2,008 student-athletes on the Commissioner’s List and on the Academic Honor Roll. In addition, 133 student-athletes earned the 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award.

The Commissioner’s List honors student-athletes who earned a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or better during the 2024-25 academic year while the Academic Honor Roll honors those student-athletes who maintained a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 for the academic year.
