LEXINGTON, Ky. – As announced on Tuesday by the ITA, senior Zoe Hammond and junior Julia Zhu come into the 2025 fall season ranked No. 20 and No. 57 in singles. Both upperclassmen hope to build on their success last season this fall, in preparation for team play this spring.

Last season, Hammond was a second team All-SEC singles player, ending the season ranked at No. 25. Zhu spent most of her sophomore season ranked in the top 100 as well, finishing spring ’25 play at No. 92 in the country.

Hammond also notably beat the No. 1 preseason singles player from Auburn, DJ Bennett, this past spring. This was one of her three top 25 wins on the spring 2025 season.

Both Hammond and Zhu will compete in singles and doubles play alongside the rest of the Wildcats this fall, in hopes to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in Orlando, FL this November.
