LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky swimming and diving program finished their 2025-26 schedule, featuring lots of high-level competition as head coach Bret Lundgaard enters his third season in Lexington, as announced on Monday.

The schedule features an intersquad exhibition, the World Aquatics World Cup, four meets against SEC opponents, two invitationals, and more. Both squads will face six opponents during the regular season that finished the 2024-25 season ranked in the top 20. They will take on an additional five teams ranked in the top 25 at the SEC Championships.

The season kicks off with an intersquad blue, white meet on Sept. 26 at 4 p.m., with the first official meet being the World Aquatics World Cup in Carmel, Indiana (Oct. 10-12).

The first chance to watch the Wildcats at the Lancaster Aquatic Center is against Indiana on October 22 at 10 a.m. Indiana finished last season with their men ranked No. 2 and their women No. 7.

Kentucky will then hit the road for the rest of 2025 with meets at LSU on October 24 at noon, at Louisville on November 6 at 4 p.m., and at the Ohio State Invite in Columbus on November 18-21. The diving squad will take a trip of their own to Winter Nationals on December 8 and return December 14.

UK returns from the holiday with two home meets. One will be a tri-meet with Purdue and Notre Dame on January 9 and the other will be against SEC opponent Missouri on January 10, both at 11 a.m.

The following week the Wildcats will travel to Nashville on January 16, where the women will be in a tri-meet against Vanderbilt and Texas A&M and the men’s team will take on just Texas A&M at 1 p.m.

They will travel home for senior day and the last home meet of the season on January 30 for a meet against Cincinnati at 5 p.m.

The First Chance Meet in Louisville will be February 5 and 6, followed by the 2025-26 SEC Championships held by Tennessee from February 16-21.

NCAA Diving Zones will be held in Ypsilanti, Michigan from March 9-11. The fourth annual CSCAA National Invite will be held later that week in Ocala, Florida from March 13-15.

The 2024-25 collegiate swimming and diving season culminates with the Women’s NCAA Championship in Atlanta, Georgia, March 18-21, followed by the Men’s NCAA Championship, March 25-28.

Kentucky returns five NCAA individual qualifiers from 2024-25, three men and two women. Last season, the men placed ninth in the SEC and 20th in the NCAA, while the women finished 11th in the conference.
