Stage Set for 12 Kentucky Wildcats at NBA Summer League

LAS VEGAS – The NBA 2K26 Summer League tips off Thursday in Las Vegas and will feature a total of 12 Kentucky men’s basketball products, including five players from the Wildcats’ 2024-25 roster.

All 30 NBA Teams will participate in the Las Vegas summer league which spans from July 10-20 and showcases some of the top young talent the game has to offer. Kentucky will be represented on the rosters of 11 teams with two representatives, Lamont Butler and Jacob Toppin, set to suit up for the Atlanta Hawks.

Five players from last year’s Cats will descend upon the desert with Amari Williams (Celtics), Jaxson Robinson (Cavaliers), Koby Brea (Suns) and Andrew Carr (Trailblazers), joining Butler.

A total of 76 games will be played during the 11-day competition with each team playing at least five games. After each team’s fourth game, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals on July 19. The two winning teams will participate in the championship game on July 20.

Games will be played on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion and can be seen live across the ESPN family of networks and on NBA TV. Schedules, stats, standings and more can be found on the official NBA Summer League website.

Thursday’s opening day of action will feature a head-to-head matchup between a pair of former Kentucky teammates as Reeves and the New Orleans Pelicans take on Dillingham and the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first game of Summer League at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Other Wildcats taking the court on day one include Robinson, Livingston, Labissiere and Edwards.
