Antoine Ghibaudo, Jack Loutit Earn All-SEC Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.– A pair of Wildcats—Antoine Ghibaudo and Jack Loutit—were named to the 2025 All-SEC Men’s Tennis Teams, the league announced Thursday. Ghibaudo earned a pair of laurels, as the Parisian was named to the First Team All-SEC and the SEC All-Freshman Team. Loutit was named to the Second Team All-SEC.

Ghibaudo becomes the first Wildcat to earn First Team All-SEC honors and SEC All-Freshman Team honors in the same season. The rookie from Paris, France has led the Cats from the No. 1 singles position all season long, posting an 11-5 record with a trio of ranked wins over No. 16 Braden Shick of NC State, No. 67 Petar Jovanovic of Mississippi State, and No. 78 Oscar Lacides of Oklahoma. In SEC play, Ghibaudo posted a 6-3 record against the conference’s best. Ghibaudo was twice named the SEC Freshman of the Week, earning those laurels following his performances in the first and last conference weekends of the season. In doubles, Ghibaudo posted a team best record of 12-6, primarily playing at No. 3.

Ghibaudo came to Kentucky with high praise, earning the No. 1 spot in the ITA’s Newcomer Rankings. The Frenchman held the most ATP tour points of incoming freshmen this season and peaked with an ITF junior ranking of No. 14. This season, Ghibaudo peaked at No. 48 in the ITA Singles Rankings and currently ranks No. 50.

Loutit’s Second Team honor marks his first appearance on the All-SEC teams and is his second conference postseason recognition after being named to the SEC All-Freshman Team a season ago. The sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand led the Cats with a 17-5 record during the dual season, primarily playing on the No. 2 court. Loutit was undefeated in singles during non-conference play and posted a team best 9-4 record in SEC matches. Loutit led the team with four ranked wins, five clinches, and a perfect 5-0 record in three set matches. The Kiwi finished the regular season ranked No. 61 in the ITA Singles Rankings and ranks No. 12 in the ITA Doubles Rankings alongside Eli Stephenson. The sophomore duo posted five ranked wins in the dual season, highlighted by a win over No. 8 Timo Legout and Lucas Brown of Texas.

Loutit also qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship in the fall and featured as a member of the New Zealand Davis Cup Team in September 2024 and February 2025.

Ghibaudo, Loutit, and the rest of the Cats will await their NCAA Tournament destination until the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship Selection Show, set to take place on Monday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
